Jennifer Catera is an associate in GK&L's litigation department and works primarily on ERISA collection litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer counseled business entities and individuals in public and private companies, hedge funds, and investment banking within the areas of employment, executive compensation, and corporate transactions. Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from The State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She received a Juris Doctor degree from The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While in law school, she studied abroad at Erasmus University School of Law in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. At Hofstra, Jennifer received the honor of being chosen by her peers to serve as an Associate Editor of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel Journal and was chosen by the faculty to receive the Excellence in Advocacy & Litigation courses award at graduation. Jennifer was born and raised in Queens, New York.
